Profile pictures and many social apps need a square image. This tool starts with a square box on your photo. Drag it to choose the part you want and download a 1:1 picture.
How to use it
- Choose your photo.
- A square crop box appears. Drag on the photo to place a new one.
- Press Crop Image.
- Download your square picture.

Most apps show profile pictures as squares or circles. Placing the face in the centre of a square crop keeps it visible after the app trims the corners.
After cropping, you can make the file smaller with the compress tool, or resize it to an exact pixel size such as 500 by 500 with the resize tool.
